We welcome you to participate in our mutually-supportive practice community, by joining us in our efforts to integrate meditation into our daily lives. Grounded in aspiration to live mindfully and practice peace, we collaborate for the benefit of ourselves, humanity and the world.
While we are united in aspiration, we honor the diversity of faith, style and experience that we bring to this path. Without taking measurement, we simply encourage one another to continue, each at our own pace, enjoying the journey together.
– Rev. David Scheuneman
Ways to Participate
The main way to participate is simply to keep your aspiration alive and keep developing your meditation practice. Keep in mind that we support your effort, and visualize that your effort supports us.
You can passively participate further by following our conversation on Slack. It’s OK to “lurk”.
If you wish, you can participate more actively. Interact with us online. Try to sit at least once per week, and check in with the group about your practice at least once per month. Many of us sit as-if-together, and/or connect together on Slack, every Sunday. But anytime is fine!
Lately, like everybody else, we have also been experimenting with Zoom.
If you want to participate in the “financial stewardship” of this ministry, you can support Studio Zero with occasional or regular donations.
Read Go as a Sangha, by Thich Nhat Hanh, for more on the spirit of what we’re about.
As a Code of Conduct: please observe the open source Contributor Covenant and practice “Right Speech”.
